Playground Games focused on two factors in October update pack of "Forza Horizon 3" to ensure exhilarating experience in Xbox One and PC. The developer zeroed in on game stability and performance, to the delight of gamers.
There are changes on gameplay but "Forza Horison 3" gamers are more interested in stability and performance so gameplay criterion was covered with buzz about these two departments. Playground games made it clear that improvements are their topmost priority since release in Sept 23 this year.
Starting with stability department, most of the items listed in Forza Motorsport update note are referring to game crashes plaguing "Forza Horizon 3." Some of those included were Windows 10 crashes while attempting to join Maroondah Road Bucket List. Same thing happens when enabling the mic during gaming sessions, especially when speech pack isn't installed. Even graphics chips are sometimes culprit, especially that FH3 seems to shy away from AMD R9 Fury X.
These "Forza Horizon 3" nuisance are not exclusive to PC gamers because Xbox One isn't safe neither. Try to pause the game and there is tendency for a freeze. Then came the annoying crash again when DLC fails to properly connect with Bucket List Blueprint.
Moving forward, Game Spot also listed some details about performance department. Among these is notable improvement in CPU handling when running quad-core setup in Windows 10. Think of how much power "Forza Horizon 3" can unleash if it goes in octa-core setup. There are other minor performance-specific fixes as well like Drivatar application and free roam stalls.
Meanwhile, we mentioned earlier that there are changes in "Forza Horizon 3" gameplay so here is some of them, lest we forget. Skills and XP boosts in Horizon Edition cars are no longer beneficial in online trysts. Even what was referred to earlier as "XP bump" is no longer working online and provides no advantage at all apart from gamers opting for solo gameplay.
