'Pokemon Sun and Moon' Release Date, News & Update: Demo Version Leaks Entire Alola Pokedex & More!

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" is scheduled for release next month. Before its official launch, the demo version was published by Nintendo in order to give fans a brief preview of what they can expect from the game.

On Oct. 18, the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" 3DS demo was released and made available to gamers via Nintendo eShop. According to the description, getting the demo version is a chance to see in advance, the list of Pokémon that will be included in the game, which will be officially released on Nov. 18.

Moreover, it was revealed ahead of time that Ash Greninja, the pocket monster that was seen with Ash in the animated "Pokemon XYZ" TV series, will debut in the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" as a member of the players' team. Just like in the TV series, the player and Ash Greninja will go on adventures together. However, if players want to bring this particular Pokemon to the full version of the game, it should be unlocked first.

Incidentally, although the demo is not lengthy, it revealed more than it should after Data Miners dissected it very carefully. Their diligence paid off after unearthing a major detail about "Pokemon Sun and Moon" game. Data Miners just found what appeared to be the entire Alola Pokedex and this was leaked online.

Aside from this, the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" demo also have files that exposed the sprites of some still unpublished Pokemon as well as final evolutions of starters. With all of these leaked details, it is obvious that Game Freak failed to keep details tightly secured prior to release.

Interestingly, there are sources claiming to have also found mystical Ultra Beasts in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" demo. The beasts were labeled as "aliens" because they look different from regular Pokémon, perhaps these type of monsters belong to a new category.

In addition, there are also leaked images showing Pikachu with a hat. Such images did not surprise players because previous versions of the game featured a mode where players can dress up Pikachu.

Looking at the huge amount of information that has been uncovered within hours after publishing the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" demo, it is easy to see that the game has been spoiled already. Even though that there is still a full month before its release. Thus, as a player, if you prefer to be surprised when the game finally arrives in November, then it is time to stop reading the leaked reports.
