It feels like gamers have been waiting for "The Elder Scrolls 6" for as long as George R.R. Martin fans have been expecting the release of "The Winds of Winter". Althought there is a possibility that the book might actually get published next year, Bethesda still refuses to make any announcements about "TES6". So does this mean that the studio is more eager to work on a possible "Skyrim 2"? Should everyone hold their breath until "The Elder Scrolls: VI" is released sometime in 2019?
Is Bethesda Postponing 'The Elder Scrolls 6' For Possible 'Skyrim' Sequel?
It looks like "TES6" might not be a sequel to "Skyrim" after all. Some fans believe that "Skyrim 2" is one of the big projects that Bethesda is currently working on and has a bigger chance of being announced quite soon. After all, Pete Hines has already confirmed that there are no plans to work on "The Elder Scrolls 6" just yet. However, it is highly unlikely that the studio will let another year pass without releasing something to support the series.

There are speculations that "Skyrim 2" could be announced later in the year or in early 2017. However, the game will be a completely different title from "The Elder Scrolls 6", which is expected to be set in another location in Tamriel. GamenGuide has already reported on "TES6" being set in Argonia as well as a few new features that the game might include. But if the "Skyrim" sequel will be released in the next year, when can fans expect any confirmations about "The Elder Scrolls: VI"?

GamenGuide recently wrote about how things might finally be moving forward for "The Elder Scrolls 6" since Pete Hines tweeted that the game is not yet in production. Is it possible that Bethesda might finally be working on "TES6"? Gamers can only hope that the title will finally be confirmed in the next month. However, it is possible that "The Elder Scrolls: VI" might not be released until 2019.
