News of Google's upcoming Android Wear 2.0 smart watches started circulating in July. While it was just all speculations, news just in that they are going to be released early next year. The two smart watches will reportedly run on Android Wear 2.0. The two Google watches are reportedly codenamed "Angelfish" and "Swordfish."
Google's First Android Wear 2.0 Watches Release Date
Earlier this year, Android Police reported on Google's first Android Wear, showing a prototype based on the description of its anonymous insider. It was first reported that the two Android watches will be released after the new Nexus phones.
However, a recent post from tech tip king Evan Blass showed the prototype of the Google Android Wear 2.0 Watches along with its expected date of release. The picture below shows two almost similarly looking watches with one much bigger than the other.
The expected release date is in line with Google's new push into its hardware arm, The Next Web reported. Just this year, Google released a series of new gadgets that include two Pixel smartphones, a voice-activated Speaker, a VER viewer, A Wi-Fi router and a 4K Chromecast. Google's decision to push the Android Wear 2.0 smart phones to a later date will allow the company more time for refinement.
