Roughly two weeks after "Mafia 3" was released, the game is seemingly received in a very subtle manner. Along with the expectation that, it will dominate the the consoles and the PC platform, it remains the game who's first patch is highly expected. Despite the game being totally playable in a manner a new player does, "Mafia 3"has greater problems that needs to be addressed immediately.
Unfortunately, "Mafia 3"players have encountered problems way before they even started playing the game. According to GottaBeMobile, the first, openly encountered problem, is the absence of activation code on their pre ordered DeLuxe edition. The said mistake is said to affect fans who pre ordered the game from Best Buy and Amazon. The "Mafia 3"platform includes Xbox One, PS4 and PC wherein, most of these glitches were noticeable on the PC platform.
Streaming "Mafia 3"will not give the players any satisfaction as well. Despite the developer acknowledging the glitch, players currently experience "no music"while streaming the game. Without any other explanation, the studio also announced that, music in cutscenes will be turned off while streaming. Apart from the these minor issues are the underlying gameplay problems such as missing missions and Family Kick Back items are harder to acquire.
For the graphics quality of the game, the rendering showed a subpar texturing, while others noticed the seemingly discolored vehicles. Most of all, the key binding issues tend to hinder the game's flow; not to mention the stuttering that occurs during progression. Three days ago, the "Mafia 3"patch 1.02 update has been released and fans are looking to see whether these problems are properly addressed or not. In a previous report by GamenGuide, some of the significant content of the patch include the ability to accelerate framerate from 30 to 60. Mafia 3's PC framerate was previously locked on 30fps.
