The Ice Golem is releasing today and the card is going to wreck some towers in "Clash Royale." The rare card is also a tank and it can go up against the likes of the Giant and the Golem. There's plenty of other stuff that the card can accomplish.
The Ice Golem inflicts little damage and has average HP. Players can call upon the Ice Golem by giving two Elixir. As per The Bitbag, it's a very easy card to put on field. Even though the Ice Golem's capabilities don't make a mark as such when alone, certain card combos may complement "Clash Royale" Ice Golem's last resort.
The last resort freeze of the Ice Golem is pretty similar to the Ice Wizard's attack. If a player pairs the two up, that would significantly slow down the attacking army. The "Clash Royale" Ice Wizard is soft and soggy. Therefore, the Ice Golem would absorb most of the damage, writes Touch Arcade. This gives the Wizard more time to slow down enemy units.
As already pointed out, the Ice Golem is not that impressive when alone. It needs to be paired up with the right cards to increase both its offense and defense. "Clash Royale" players often use Skeleton Army, Spear Goblins or Barbarians with the Ice Golem and that's a great strategy.
The Ice Golem slows down the attacking troops and then the other units finish off multiple enemy units at once. "Clash Royale" players can inflict massive damage with the use of high DPS troops, like Balloon and Sparky, once the Ice Golem makes enemy units immobile. When it's dying, the Ice Golem simply explodes to damage and slow down enemies.
However, certain Redditors are of the opinion that only skilled players can use the "Clash Royale" Ice Golem effectively. Others won't find it that useful.
