"Destiny 2" is said to be entirely different from its first installment. In fact, multiple reports are saying that the sequel will not be exclusive to consoles but will also be available in PC.
Second Installment Soon!
Even if there's no specific release date for "Destiny 2," Bungie will be working on huge tweaks for the second installment, as it was reported previously. This is also why other reports say that the upcoming game will wholly be different from the first released. The game plot will also be altered. The company really wants to offer a new game version than making an extension of the first gameplay.
In addition, it was also reported that Bungie will get rid of some old elements and other game platforms like its old planets, the quests and characters for "Destiny 2." The game website said that "Bungie's leadership wants 'Destiny 2' to feel like a proper sequel, even if that means leaving old planets, characters and activities behind."
PC Platform Revealed!
The game first came out in 2014 and sources said that the upcoming installment will be launched sometime next year. Reports said that there were some gamers and followers disappointed as "Destiny 2" was only available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Hence, its fans, followers and gamers will be celebrating as the second installment will have its PC version, which also brings a wider and newer target audience.
From NeoGAF, a poster with a username benny_a noted that a friend from Activision once told him that the most awaited "Destiny 2" will have a PC version. The employees, too, were advised by the publisher about the news. The GAF poster also revealed that Vicarious Visions, which is an Activision-owned studio, is also working and cooperating with the team for the second sequel.
