The CW recently provided a sneak preview of "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 3, titled "Magenta." The next episode hinted that there will be a new villain named Magenta (Joey King), a metahuman with the ability to manipulate metal.
ComicBook wrote that "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 3 will showcase the return of Earth-2 Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and his daughter, Jesse (ViolettBeane). The team will be battling Magenta, who stirs up trouble in Central City. It is still uncertain how long Magenta will be appearing in the season but the character poses a new kind of threat and could be involved in a new generation of Rogues. The promo video showed The Flash and Jesse working together against the new enemy.
The CW episode synopsis stated that Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team will be happy to reunite with Earth-2 Wells and Jesse. Wells will share with Barry and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) that Jesse possesses all the powers of a speedster and has already been acting as a superhero on Earth-2. Most likely, she gained her superpowers from the "Flashpoint" storyline. Wells is worried about Jesse's safety and asked The Flash and Caitlin to convince her to stop using her powers. The Flash and his team will try to settle matters while dealing with a new villain who terrorizes the city.
CarterMatt revealed that the upcoming "The Flash" episode will show Wells' main reason for coming back. The character will not apparently be a part of the "Flashpoint" storyline, especially because he is on Earth-2, and has very few reasons to travel to Earth-1. Since Jesse is allegedly becoming Jesse Quick on their Earth, her father is extremely concerned that she may eventually fall into difficult situations. It seems that he cannot talk her into quitting her speedster ways and hopes that The Flash will be successful for Jesse's sake.
Armen V. Kevorkian directed "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 3, while JudalinaNeira and David Kob wrote the story. "The Flash - Magenta" will air on Oct. 18, 2016 on The CW. More updates and details on "The Flash" are expected soon.
