Kurt Sutter's post on social media had fans thinking that the "Sons of Anarchy" spin off will debut sooner than expected. The American screenwriter posted a photo of the Mayans Motorcycle Club with a caption asking the audience if they are ready to revisit the bikers' world. The drama series aired its final season in 2014 and fans cannot wait to see their favorite characters again in the spin off "Mayans MC."
GameNGuide reported the alleged feud of Kurt Sutter and Charlie Hunnam which could cost the latter losing the role of Jax Teller in the future. However, in another Instagram post of Sutter, an image of Alvarez and Jax was posted with a caption saying that his favorite kind of family is a dysfunctional one. Fans are thinking if Sutter is hinting Hunman's return to "Sons of Anarchy" spin off which is reported to air on 2018.
In the story, Alvarez and Jax had made a temporary truce before the end of season 7, but the latter ended his own life at the finale. It makes sense, then, that Jax will no longer return in "Sons of Anarchy" spin off. However, if the new series' time frame will start before the events surrounding the FX's drama, Charlie Hunman could possibly appear in the spin off as Jax's cameo.
FX has not divulged all details surrounding "Sons of Anarchy" spin off. Even Kurt Sutter and Charlie Hunman had no official announcement regarding Jax Teller's return. As for Mayan's leader, Marcus Alvarez, Emilio Rivera is reported to reprise his role. Rumors say that the new title "Mayans MC" is based on Alvarez and the group of outlawed motorcyclists called the Mayans.
