Exciting things are in store for loyal players of Capcom's iconic gaming title "Street Fighter 5." It appears that game developers are working on a new set of challenges and features to keep gamers entertained. The latest news was unveiled on the NeoFighter forum by user LeonX who leaked images of the game's upcoming patch update.
Several daily challenges will soon be added to "Street Fighter 5" that contains various timed missions such as the story and survival modes. Gamers can also choose to join a battle lounge mission where they can earn rewards. Match challenges and fight requests are also available under varying difficulty modes.
Some challenges also appear to be linked to specific characters or actions. One of the leaked mission titles hinted of an urgent errand for Sakura, while another asked to complete Shibasaki's "first request." Meanwhile, specific fighting moves such as a jumping attack or normal throw move can yield in-game rewards.
Apart from the daily challenges, the said NeoFighter forum user also included a snapshot of an "Arcade Mode" prototype in his forum post. However, details about the said gaming feature were not disclosed. The image only provided a look at potential game categories that include "Arcade" and "Extra Battle" which may refer to the "Extra Mode" that Capcom previously announced.
In other news, Capcom recently deployed a Halloween-themed update for "Street Fighter 5." The said DLC update included special costumes for Ryu, Vega, Necali, Juri, Charlie, Alex and Cammy. A gaming trick shared by Twitter user KikoMasterRD, as cited by Event Hubs, unveiled a cool trick to change certain parts of a character's costume.
Players are advised to hold "all three punches, light kick, and up all at the same time" while the game transitions from character selection to its fight scene. The same trick can be made between match rounds, according to the same report.
"Street Fighter 5" released its Halloween-themed DLC on Oct. 11 that will be available until Nov. 29. Watch a video of the costume transition trick below:
