"Mafia 3" patch 1.02 has just been released. With that, the first post-release patch for the game is also reported to come to the PC players. This means that more options would be available to provide information on how the game works.
According to a blog post o "Mafia 3's" official website, the new patch enables the PC players to change the frames per second from 30, 60 or even up to unlimited frame rate. Hangar 13, the game's developer, also revealed that the patch includes other enhancements for the PC. However, reports indicate that there are still no patch notes released at this time.
For those who want to change their "Mafia 3" frame rate, the update must be downloaded before heading to the display menu during in-game. From that point, the players may now have the choice to change the frame rate settings. In addition, it should be noted as well that downloading the update may likely reset their keyboard control layouts back to the default settings. Any custom changes made to the controls will prompt the players to re-enter the layout again, Eurogamer reported.
"Mafia 3" is already available on Xbox One, PS4 and the PC. Based on reports, the game is worth checking out for those who might be interested. For one, there is a quick note that provides instructions on how to change the clothes of Lincoln, according to a report.
Meanwhile, "Mafia 3's" recent launch is reportedly getting criticized on Steam for a frame rate that is locked at 30fps. However, developer Hangar 13 and 2K immediately issued a statement to the PC users, confirming the arrival of an update for the game. 2K assures the players that the new update will boost the performance of the game.
