Everybody has loved Matt Ryan for being the handsome demon hunter and master of a cult in the short-lived TV series, "Constantine." As the 35-year-old star is already known for that character, he reprised his role as John Constantine in "Arrow" Season 4 and his voiced would be heard in the coming DC's animated movie, "Justice League Dark."
Matt Ryan Joins 'Justice League Dark' As 'Constantine' Voice
"Justice League Dark" director Jay Oliva made sure that "Constantine" will be featured with the voice of Matt Ryan at New York Comic Con on Saturday. As he is already an avid fan of his trade character, the actor also revealed that he loved playing John Constantine's role. "He's one of the best literary characters of the 21st century, I think," he told Gizmodo Australia.
"He's such a great character to play and I thoroughly enjoyed playing him on the TV show and then on 'Arrow,'" Matt Ryan added. He is also thankful that he joined "Justice League Dark" because the content of the movie about John Constantine is absolutely great. In fact, he is still hooked on the story of "Constantine" that he is still reading everything about him. He even described that his DNA might be often left to everyone who embodies him.
Will 'Constantine' Be Back In 'Arrow?'
Meanwhile, at the same event, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment gave a glimpse of the first official trailer of "Justice League Dark." Matt Ryan was part of the panel and was asked by the audience if he would grace "Arrow" to; once again, continue the tale of "Constantine." He neither confirmed anything, but he said that he is open to being on the show, Comic Book reported.
To recall, right after NBC canceled the return of "Constantine" in May 2015, Stephen Amell, who plays the role Green Arrow, revealed his interest to have Matt Ryan on his show. The 35-year-old star wanted the actor to reprise his role as John Constantine and that had made come true in "Arrow" Season 4 Episode 5 "Haunted." "Justice League Dark" will be soon released in 2017.
