The game aficionados are now excited for the coming of "Destiny 2" as there are swirling rumors that it will be totally a new game. Not only that, PC players now have all the reason to celebrate as the title sequel can now be played on desktop computers.
Will 'Destiny 2' Really Come In PC?
It was first revealed on NeoGAF by a user named benny_a that "Destiny 2" can now be played on PC. To recall, the original "Destiny" was released exclusively for video game consoles that sadden a lot of computer players. The guy even explained that the rumor is true as it is confirmed to him by his friend from Activision, the game's publisher. Allegedly, the company informed their employees about the title's details in an internal presentation
Benny_a also added that Vicarious Visions, the video game developer owned by Activision, is also helping developing "Destiny 2." However, although the details revealed by the NeoGAF user is not really announced, Kotaku noted that the same news was heard before that made the user's claim somehow true.
'Destiny 2' Will Be A Brand New Game?
Meanwhile, Forbes reported that "Destiny 2" is set to be a totally new game, not picking up the story of its predecessor. With that, players have to start from the scratch with new classes, subclasses or new Guardians. Bungie even supported this claim back in 2014. "For 'Destiny 2,' the idea is that the Guardian that you have created is something you can bring along with you on that adventure," community manager David "Deej" Dague told IGN before.
"If you take a look at the way people have played other games for a long period of time, they've had a relationship with the same character for a very long time," he added. Evidently, players are about to see a big change in the coming "Destiny 2" and it might be a great start for the PC players that haven't experience playing the first release. "Destiny" 2 is expected to be out in 2017.
