2K and Irrational Games revealed their plans for BioShock Infinite DLC.
Details are light, but the Bioshock Infinite season pass will include at least three packs that "will provide hours of additional gameplay and continue the player's journey in the sky-city of Columbia with new stories, characters, abilities and weapons."
The season pass will be available when Infinite launches on March 26th, 2013. At $19.99 or 1600 Microsoft Points, the season pass offers a 30 percent discount versus buying all of the game's DLC piece-by-piece. Interestingly, the season pass has a pre-order bonus on its own.
Putting down money for DLC early will net players a large amount of in-game bonuses from the "Industrial Revolution Pack" and "Early Bird Special Pack." The Early Bird pack includes gold weapon skins and damage upgrades for the machine gun and pistol, a carry capacity upgrade, and five Infusion bottles, which gives players a variety of status upgrades, including increased health and shield durability. The "Industrial Revolution Pack" comes with extra lock picks, $500 in Columbia currency, and a deeper look at the floating city via the pack's namesake puzzle game.
