The Angel City map that is originally present in the original "Titanfall" will now be included on the upcoming "Titanfall 2." According to Respawn Entertainment, the Angel City DLC will arrive as a free expansion for the game this coming December. Specifically, it will be available on the multiplayer mode of "Titanfall 2."
According to the developer, the Angel City map is a popular content not only for players but on Respawn's very own team; that is why decided to create a fully remastered Angel City map for "Titanfall 2." In a blog post by the developer, it stated "We can't wait to see how the community uses all the exciting new Pilot and Titan gameplay mechanics we're bringing to "Titanfall 2" on Angel City."
The "Titanfall 2" Angel City DLC is free, but players who will pre order the game will be able to receive the DLC code, three days earlier than the rest. As an additional perk for players who preorder the game, a Nitro Scorch pack will be included and will feature a unique call sign and a special war paint. Respawn also promised their fans that, upcoming post launch maps and mods for "Titanfall 2" will be free. "This means it'll be easier to play with your friends, not having to worry about who has what map pack or mode because everyone will have them."
Respawn's plans however, include selling of cosmetic items in the form of a DLC. They said, these cosmetics items will not change the gameplay of the "Titanfall 2." The game is scheduled for release on the 28th of October and will be available on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 platform.
