Den of Geek noted that the Adult Swim Series will continue to push forward due to its higher viewership rating this year. Dan Harmon teased that they hired more writers including female writers which could promote gender balance. Harmon also relayed and promised that Rick will be fine in "Rick and Morty" Season 3.

Rick's wife might also appear on "Rick and Morty" Season 3 to give assistance to her husband. There are also presumptions that she never died, opposing the scenes of its pilot episode.
