‘No Man’s Sky’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: Will Gamers Still Bite A Sequel? [POLL]

“No Man’s Sky’s” problems have been mounting though Hello Games and Sean Murray are far from giving up on the ambitious space exploration game. Right now they are busy trying to come up with additional free content which can hopefully address bugs and improve gameplay.

As mentioned in a previous post, one complaint of players was the recurring scenes on “No Man’s Sky”. Despite claims that it has over 18 quintillion planets, the worlds that gamers find themselves in look fairly the same.

Add some game performance issues to the mix and one can just imagine the backlash that most are saying about “No Man’s Sky”. Additionally, there are legal issues tied up to it. That includes taking a jab at the PR strategy and that latest post covering false advertising claims over in the UK.

Would “No Man’s Sky 2” make sense?

With mounting problems it seems that “No Man’s Sky” is faced with, seeing a “No Man’s Sky 2” seems farthest from anyone’s mind. There will be trust issues meaning Hello Games may find it hard to climb out of this hole.

Given the benefit of the doubt, don’t be surprised if Murray and Hello Games still try to come up with a sequel to “No Man’s Sky” no matter how high the stakes. With the misfortunes of “No Man’s Sky” it would have been better to develop a whole new game unless the free DLCs prove to be a life-saver.

As detailed on a Reddit thread, one thing that Murray and game developers need to address are the areas and objects recurring in the game. They need to make each place unique, something that was previously expected but never happened.

But more to the improvements, it is all about winning back the confidence of “No Man’s Sky” gamers. First impressions last and apparently the ghost of the bludgeoning debut has left a tarnishing mark to customers.
