Activision recently featured the "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered" campaign trailer. The video highlighted how much the graphics have been enhanced, compared to the original version.
GameRant stated that the new "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered" trailer focused only on the single player campaign. The launch trailer featured some of the most notable story missions like Shock and Awe, Crew Expendable and Ghillied Up. "Call of Duty 4" fans will also notice that the visuals have been significantly enhanced with better lighting effects, smoother animations and upgraded textures. There will reportedly be dedicated servers, enhanced framerate and improved audio quality, among others, in "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered."
Raven Software Is allegedly doing its best to remain true to the original "Call of Duty 4." Included in the remastered version are all multiplayer maps from the original after the main launch. The first 10 will be available upon launch, while the remaining six will arrive in a December 2016 update for free. There will also be several details from the original version that will be added, such as strafe jumping, which has not been seen for some time. All the multiplayer modes and features will be added to the upcoming game.
GameSpot wrote that "Call of Duty 4" fans who pre-order the Legacy and Digital Deluxe Editions of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" by Infinity Ward can get to play earlier. They can access "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" campaign on October 5. However, Xbox and PC players will need to wait until the main launch date to play the game. "Infinite Warfare" Legacy is priced at $80, while the Digital Deluxe version costs $100.
It is still uncertain whether "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered" will come out alongside "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" or as a standalone game. It was reported that "Modern Warfare Remastered" will not be available independently at first, so players may need to either of the premium editions.The game will officially launch on Nov. 4, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
