The Sony Xperia X Compact features the Triluminos tech and a 4.6-inch display with 720 x 1,280 resolution clocked at 319 ppi. The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor with four 1.4GHz Cortex-A53 and two 1.8GHz Cortex-A72.
The handset also includes a 23MP rear camera with predictive hybrid autofocus, fast capture technology and triple image sensing. The camera can also take low-light images up to ISO 12,800. The phone's 5MP front camera supports 1,080p. The phone will run the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow which may be upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat, International Business Times reported.
The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra has been priced at around $360 in Black, Green and White. The Apple phone costs $399 and is available in Silver, Gold and Space Gray. The Sony Xperia X Compact is available for pre order and has a retail price of US$499.99 (AU$663). The handset is available in black, white and light blue. Shipping will begin from Sept. 25.
