'Once Upon A Time' Season 6, The Show's Final Season?
In an interview with showrunners Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz with Zap2It, they said that it is very unlikely "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 would be its swan song. "We don't have an end date, but we have an end plan. We know how we want to end the show when the time comes," Horowitz said. Kitsis, on the other hand, also explained that each season of the TV series has its unique story that is yearly reinvented and varies.
"For us, we're not planning on ending it right now, but we'll see what happens," Kitsis revealed. According to the publication, "Once Upon a Time" Season 6's Storybrooke constantly changes every year. In fact, it seems like the tale will be a never-ending story as it always features new narratives and characters from Disney. The show also managed to keep its 8:00 p.m. schedule for six years, which means it retains its success in competing for other series in many years.
Will Emma Die In 'Once Upon A Time' Season 6?
Meanwhile, in a different interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kitsis and Horowitz also revealed that "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 would have a not-so-happy ending this time. Does it mean the casts won't have a "happily ever after?" There are hearsays that Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is about to meet her demise and no one can stop it. Is this the sad ending they are talking about?
Kitsis hinted that they have actually seen a visualization of Emma's death and that it is what they are going to explore in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. Horowitz added that the show is certainly about hope, so they would first give their characters a chance to fight for that "desire." The executive producers will first see if Emma's fate would be immovable by getting inside her mind. "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 airs every Sunday on ABC.
