'The Last of Us 2' Is Really Coming!
The creative director and programmer, Neil Druckmann, recently revealed "The Last of Us 2" and stated that it is currently in development. However, Neil Druckmann also stated the "The Last of Us 2" will be release in 2021, which is approximately eight years since the first game was release back in 2013.
The director admitted that the game developers are busy in making a DLC for the "Uncharted 4" right now. "The Last of US 2" will be the next priority once this certain "Uncharted 4" DLC is finished and will be out in the market.
According to Movie News Guide, the first "The Last of Us" game took Neil Drunkmann and his team almost three years to finish everything before its official release. Druckmann also pointed out that the game was never meant to have a sequel, "The Last of Us 2," in the first place.

Despite the long wait, fans are still happy that "The Last of Us 2" is now confirmed to be in development and that it is not totally forgotten by its game developers. There were rumors claiming that "The Last of Us 2" will be canceled due to the lack of updates. However, the most-recent revelation of Neil Druckmann has totally silenced these speculations.
