The focus for “The Sims 4” right now is the expected to come from the paid expansion pack, “City Living”. This DLC will be made available starting November but a revelation from composer Ilan Eshkeri may hint at something coming before that.
The first thing that comes to mind was that mentioned in a previous post tied up to a “The Sims 4” expansion similar to “Supernatural”, a DLC pack that came out for “The Sims 3”. To recall, this pack allowed ‘Sims’ to transform into unique forms like a vampire, witch, or even a fairy. Halloween happens next month and if this dish by Eshkeri is to be taken seriously, it could possibly point to something spooky actually happening for “The Sims 4."
‘Spooky’ Surprise for “The Sims 4”
As of the moment, EA or Maxis have not come out to hint at any surprise DLC pack coming this October for “The Sims 4." The previous release was “Dine Out” and the upcoming “City Living” packs. Could “The Sims 4” gamers be in for a spooky bonus?
If so, it could be a welcome addition to “The Sims 4” which has spiraled in terms of sales performance. Compared to previous installments, this was one aspect singled out on why the game never made it to game consoles and also placing the future of “The Sims 5” in dire straits.
“The Sims 4: City Living” is seen as something working towards that niche though it may take more than that to salvage the fortunes of the life-simulation game. As for the rumored spook DLC pack, it is best to treat it lightly for now with no official word from the game developers. If not a DLC, it may be among the sounds for the upcoming DLC pack.
Nevertheless, “The Sims 4” will get some new content this November, the best news for now which can hopefully be a difference-maker. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "The Sims 4" news and updates!
