Ubisoft is very busy. With the upcoming highly anticipated "For Honor" to be released this February 2017, it seems that the studio has a lot on their plate. That is the vibe we got from Ubisoft's CEO, Yves Guillemot when he recently opened up about the studio's current developments. Does that mean we won't be getting "Assassin’s Creed 5" anytime soon?
In an interview with Gamespot, Guillemot shared his thoughts with one of the studio's most popular titles, "Assassin's Creed." He shared that like any other game that has reached the levels that the action-adventure game has reached, the studio will need time to outdo themselves when they finally make "Assassin's Creed 5."
Guillemot shared that they will "take all the time it takes to make the experience fantastic," which means the game won't be in development most likely until 2017, for a release in 2018 or 2019. Aside from what looks like a long wait for fans, the studio promises that they are changing things up to bring a revolutionary new IP "Assassin's Creed 5."
It seems that next year, Ubisoft will be busy with "For Honor" and the additional DLCs that come with a new release. In the meantime, fans will have to keep themselves busy with the upcoming hack and slash video game called "For Honor," which has been garnering positive buzz from critics and gamers alike.
