2K Games' basketball simulation game "NBA 2K17" just came out, making fans of the franchise excited about the new content. But more than new game modes and gameplay features, the "NBA 2K17" also brings a revamped MyPark, which got everyone talking.
In a Facebook blog post, online producer Shane Coffin shared what's new about "NBA 2K17" MyPark. According to Coffin, this year's MyPark is event-driven. There will be various events coming up, which should make the park all the more interesting with fresh and update content. There will be five events coming this year and players can gain access to them via one of the MyPark gates. These are the Mountain Dew 3x Tournament, Ante-Up, House Rules, Rival Day and Double Rep Weekends.
Although it was made clear that there will be five scheduled events, there are reports stating that another event will be added and it's called MyPark After Dark. After Dark is reportedly a feature of MyPark that works as a virtual spot for players to hang out. As stated in Forbes, this feature will be a great concept for "NBA 2K17" MyPark since it will be useful to kill time for players waiting for their game.
The "NBA 2K17" MyPark allows players to get into an online fun with basketball games. Players who stand out playing in the park will also receive the MyPark badges. These badges should give you an edge over other players. A total of nine badges are available to be rewarded to deserving players and these include Game Point, Iron Man, Road Dog, 7 Oh's, Winners Only, Legend Takeover, Streak Breaker, Park Bully and Bone Collector.
2K Games is determined to make MyPark a more interesting and fun game mode for all players. There will be more updates to come soon and Coffin teased that there will be some "big news" about "NBA 2K17" MyPark, so fans should stay tuned.
