The "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, PC players will not be pleased to know that the game will not be available on their system. The "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta is set to launch on PlayStation 4 on Oct. 14, 2016, and will subsequently release on Xbox One.
GameSpot reported that the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta was announced at the Call of Duty XP opening presentation. Apparently, players need to preorder to play the beta version. Activision did not specify the details of the beta and how long it will be available. Despite the news that "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will not arrive on PC, gamers are still optimistic that it will become available at a later date. "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" eventually came to PC and Xbox One in 2015, after initially debuting on PlayStation 4.
GameRant stated that there are a lot of great first-person shooters coming in fall 2016. Aside from "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," players are also looking forward to "Destiny: Rise of Iron," "Titanfall 2" and "Battlefield 1." Among these, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," "Titanfall 2" and "Battlefield 1" will feature beta versions to draw the attention of players. Skipping PC from the beta is not a surprising move for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," since "Titanfall 2" also did the same with its beta. "Titanfall 2" did not offer a beta on PC to prevent players from going through the files and revealing information about the campaign.
Basically, Activision is planning to keep the details on "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" under wraps until the game officially launches. It is likely that the game will become available on PC after several weeks. Although Activision did not divulge details about the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta, there were updates on another upcoming title. The game publisher shared that all 16 maps from "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" will be available in "Modern Warfare Remastered." More updates and details are expected soon.
