The cast of "Better Late Than Never" travelled all the way to South Korea to meet Girls' Generation and learn all about K-Pop phenomenon. Terry Bradshaw, Jeff Dye, George Foreman, William Shatner and Henry Winkler learn how to dance to the tune of popular hit song "Gee."
Viewers can watch the cast dancing with the Girls' Generation in "Better Late Than Never" episode titled "Seoul Brothers." According to Officially KMusic, it is actually a remake of a South Korean show aptly titled "Grandpas Over Flowers."
Girls' Generation's "Gee" has more than 167 million views on YouTube. But with "Better Late Than Never" cast singing with Hyoyeon, Sunny, Tiffany and Yuri, it is expected to soar higher. The show's version has already more than 95,000 views since Sept 1.
"Better Late Than Never's" trip to South Korea not only highlights meeting with the Girls' Generation and learning about the K-Pop culture. The veteran hosts also learned about the country's advanced technology, one-of-a-kind night life, sumptuous food and some lessons on geography. The season's finale was a trip to Thailand titled "A Thai Goodbye."
The cast has always been up and ready for any challenge presented to them. Maybe that is one of the reason why "Better Late Than Never" ended its first season with 7.78 million viewers. According to TV By The Numbers, the reality travel series has more viewers than "NCIS: New Orleans" and "Agents of SHIELD." But the question remains if these numbers are enough to finally renew for season 2?
The answer seems no, because ratings are not the only basis for shows to be renewed. Show runners seem to have a hard time getting the original cast together for "Better Late Than Never" Season 2.
