GoPro Hero 5 Black, GoPro Hero 5 Session and GoPro Karma
Today, GoPro CEO Nick Woodman unveiled three much awaited GoPro products. The GoPro Hero 5 Black, GoPro Hero 5 Session and GoPro Karma all to the excitement of their massive worldwide fanbase. Who has been waiting for so long for GoPro to really do something that would separate themselves in the action camera market.
GoPro Hero 5 Black
The GoPro Hero 5 Black was the first one to be unveiled. Aside from the GoPro Hero Session series, it's the first standard sized GoPro to be waterproof even without a housing. It is measured to be waterproof under 30ft deep.
Another first for the GoPro Hero 5 Black is its new voice control feature. Providing the convenience of changing settings with just a few voice commands. Also a very well appreciated gesture by GoPro is pricing the GoPro Hero 5 Black a $100 cheaper than last year's GoPro Hero 4 Black at $399 at launch.
GoPro Hero 5 Session
The GoPro Hero 5 Session is a big leap from last year's model. Last year's GoPro Hero Session, at launch was priced at $400 and in comparison to this year's GoPro Hero 5 Session which is priced at $299, it's light years ahead in the value for money category.
The GoPro Hero 5 Session shares a couple of features with its bigger brother the GoPro Hero 5 Black. Such as 4k video recording, image stabilization, voice command recognition and waterproofing right out of the box.
