Bobbi Kristina Brown Latest News & Update: Nick Gordon Ruled Guilty in Wrongful Death Lawsuit; Will He Serve Jail Time?

It's been a year and a half since the late Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in her Atlanta home. In July last year, she passed away in hospice care. Following her mysterious death, the Houston estate filed a wrongful death lawsuit against her partner, Nick Gordon, who they believed fed her drugs before she was found face down in a bathtub in her home.

The latest news surrounding the wrongful death lawsuit has arrived and according to The Washington Post, a judge has ruled Gordon guilty. As per the medical examiner's office, Bobbi Kristina Brown had prescription drugs, alcohol, morphine, and cocaine in her system, but it was unclear if she was forced to consume it or if she overdosed herself.

Bobbi Kristina Brown's family charged Gordon with a wrongful death lawsuit in the hopes to uncover the truth. To this day, however, the truth behind her mysterious death remains unknown. The question now is, will he serve jail time?

Gordon has been repeatedly absent from the court hearings in the Bobbi Kristina Brown wrongful death lawsuit. Her father, Bobby Brown, however, has expressed his relief that Gordon was found guilty and that justice will somehow be served. The next step would be finding out if he will serve jail time.

For now, Gordon is walking free, as Daily Mail reports that he was in fact seen in public following the judge's ruling in the wrongful death lawsuit. He was seen in his Sanford, Florida home following his trip to Atlanta, Georgia. The jury is set to decide whether or not he must pay for the $50 million that the Brown estate is asking in damages.

As for whether or not he will serve jail time remains to be seen. Check back for more updates on the Bobbi Kristina Brown wrongful death lawsuit as it comes to a close.
