Niantic Labs has made it tough to track down the pocket monsters on “Pokemon Go”, something that was easy to do when PokeVision was still around. There are a lot of third-party apps available though they also carry that possibility of eliciting a game ban.
Niantic has since ramped up its efforts to clamp down on cheaters and make “Pokemon Go” as clean as possible but some players continue to take the risk. For some, it is just a game while others can always sign up using a different account.
Hence, “Pokemon Go” players who continue to use the aid of third-party apps will likely use a spoof account which they can eventually use as a reference to their actual one. That said, here are some apps that could be of good use following the demise of PokeVision.
The new third party apps for “Pokemon Go”
There are several apps to choose from for “Pokemon Go”, each carrying their own share of features for better Pokemon hunting. PokeEye is one that comes with a scanner that can be integrated with maps, an alternative that eliminates the need to be physically present at a certain location.
Other than PokeEye, there is also PokeVS. Similar to PokeEye, “Pokemon Go” players can use the app’s scanner feature which can be done by visiting its official website, pokevs.com PokeFast is another app for “Pokemon Go” users, another area scanning app that returns the location of Pokemon critters by ID. The identification would depend on the list of Pokemon would have in their PokeDex.
These are just some of the apps that “Pokemon Go” players can use and a whole lot more are available for both iOS and Android. Just the same, players are reminded of the consequences of potential game bans, something that Niantic is aggressively implementing as we speak.
