There is approximately six months to a year before HBO's "Game of Thrones" season 7 returns to television. While we all wait for clues as to what will go down in the show's penultimate season, we'll certainly analyze details that leak from the set.
The latest in the rumor mill, according to Vanity Fair, is that there will be a big battle taking place somewhere in "Game of Thrones" season 7. The evidence lies in the latest casting news coming from the set. The production was apparently looking for extras to fill in roles of "thin people," "men in good physical conditions" (they're in favor of soldiers and those with military experience), and men with hair of all lengths, and women with long hair. They're also looking to hire within the Caceres area of Spain, where they are slated to shoot. The production is in need of 450 extras for the upcoming season.
That number of extras would most likely mean that "Game of Thrones" season 7 will feature a war and it seems Khaleesi is heading out to battle, as per Screencrush. Cinemablend also reports that it seems that Dorne will make an attack on King's Landing in the upcoming season of the show. The casting call is looking to include a number of women as extras, which would probably be to fill in the Dornish community. Will they finally make their march into King's Landing next year?
We also recently reported on Cersei's new ally in the upcoming season, which means that we'll get to see her work with someone she has a lot in common with. Clues point to Cersei teaming up with Euron Greyjoy in "Game of Thrones" season 7, and that looks like an awesome dynamic in the world of the Seven Kingdoms.
