"The Voice" Season 11 will premiere in a couple of days and fans are already excited about the new episodes, especially with the arrival of new judges into the show. Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys have joined the panel of judges and these two talented artists are expected to bring an interesting vibe to the show.
Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera have given up their seats for Cyrus and Keys and everybody couldn't be happier. "The musical expertise and energy these two incredibly talented women will bring to the show is remarkable," Paul Telegdy, NBC's president of alternative and late-night programming, said in a statement. Telegdy describes "The Voice" Season 11 to be "magical."
Blind audition videos have also been released, giving a glimpse of the talents that will be performing this season. One of the teaser videos for "The Voice" Season 11 featured the blind audition of 28-year-old Ali Caldwell. Caldwell sang Ariana Grande's "Dangerous Woman" with a powerful voice that first captivated Adam Levine. Soon, Blake Shelton followed to turn his chair for her. Toward the climax of Caldwell's performance, Cyrus and Keys also turned their chairs.
Soon, judges are fighting over this outstanding singer and each one is desperate to take her in. Caldwell wants to be someone who stands out; as what she had said, her mother taught her to "dare to be different." Who she picks will be reserved for the premiere of "The Voice" Season 11 next week.
Meanwhile, "The Voice" Season 11 coaches have already been revealed. This season Sammy Hagar, Bette Midler, Charlie Puth and Joan Jett are on board to help out the contestants perfect their craft. Hagar will be working for Team Adam; Puth will assist Team Alicia's singers; Midler serves as a coach for Team Blake, and Jett will coach Team Miley's singers.
