Warriors giving up Andre Iguodala is a big move anticipated by some experts as the team wants their team members to be young. Though he sometimes accept a bench role, Iguodala is actually a pro's pro and is on a final year on his contract with the Warriors.
Andre Iguodala is a small forward that the Cavaliers can actually put into a good use. At 32 years old, he is one of the seasoned players who can do all the winning moves to help the team reach their goals. Iguodala's strength is a good complement to Lebron James. The former is a versatile player who can defend and put on some scores at the same time, while the latter wrapped up a $99.8 million three-year contract with the Cavaliers.
Iman Shumpert could prove to be the next big move the Warriors can do for the next season. He is a good defender that can ably guard all courts. Experts think that Shumpert is a better three-point shooter than Andre Iguodala.
Last month, Shumpert was arrested in Atlanta, GA on a DUI charge according to a report by Cleveland website. It is no big issue according to news but owners would not want to hear any bad publicity for their team and this already puts huge plus to Andre Iguodala's trading value.
If Cleveland Cavalier believes that Shumpert fell short of the $40 million contract for four years, the team might just let him go. They believe that during the least season, where he averaged 5.8 points and 3.8 rebounds, his performance was not just enough.
