"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will be back with its original story as the stars will all return in Storybrooke. The new installment will be all about their coming home after their journeys in different lands, like Underworld, Camelot and Neverland.
Literary Stars Coming In 'Once Upon A Time' Season 6
"This season is about coming home and figuring out what life is like at home," executive producer Adam Horowitz said, as per TV Guide. "That lends itself to a storytelling modality that's more about these smaller arcs that hopefully build up to one big story by the end of the season." As "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 is set to return to its original location, it will also be graced by new additional characters.
However, they won't simply play simple roles as they are from other known fictional worlds of literature, like the "Count of Monte Cristo," another executive producer Eddy Kitsis explained. Other literary stars that will be seen in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 are Captain Nemo from "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and the Greek God, Morpheus.
Some Characters Will Ask Emma & Dark Force's Help
Meanwhile, TV Line reported that the characters from the "Land of Untold Stories" will not easily arrive in Storybrooke in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. In the snaps obtained by the publication, Emma (Jennifer Morison), Regina (Lana Parilla) and other characters are examining the crash site where the neighbors of Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) landed. It has been said that the individuals from the said world have either pressed the "pause" button of their lives or it was automatically activated for some reasons.
Adam Horowitz added that the characters from the Land of Untold Story might experience gain or loss in Storybrooke in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. However, it depends on the individual. There are some who will opt for Emma and other heroes' help while others will seek the dark forces aid. "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will return on Sept. 25 on ABC.
