It is possible that "Stranger Things" Season 2 will not see Eleven just because the show's big bosses have not confirmed so. Millie Bobby Brown, who is a crowd favourite, has not been named by Ross Duffer to be one of the casts of the upcoming season.
Some news speculate that if she's not around on the second season, fans might get to see her on the third. Or perhaps, Eleven is part of a big twist happening in the upcoming season.
Show runners being mum about Eleven's appearance on "Stranger Things" Season 2 is making fans a little bit apprehensive. Come think of it, most of the original cast haven been reported to make a comeback according to Inquisitr. Can the Netflix series survive without Eleven?
Such scenario could be a possibility. Duffer had mentioned that "Stranger Things" Season 2 will veer a little away from Hawkins, Indiana, the town where the story has taken place. Having said that, the series could also continue even without Eleven.
Moreover, show runners have said that there will be four new casts to join "Stranger Things" Season 2. One of the casts could possibly be a replacement of Eleven, should Netflix decide to let go of the star.
In "Stranger Things" Season 1 episode 2, we saw Eleven briefly recognize Will Byers in the picture. According to Bustle, the episode titled "The Weirdo On Maple Street" is very significant as it leads the cast to discover the Upside Down. How would have Eleven known Will if she has no previous interaction with him?
Some theories even say that Eleven could have been a part why Will ended up in the Upside Down. Yes, she seemed protective over the boys on their mission to find the missing character but it could also be that she simply does not want them to find him. Hopefully, "Stranger Things" Season 2 will not be without Eleven so we can be clarified on these speculations.
