"Homeland" Season 6 is now preparing for its return as a casting call to find Israeli actors are now rolling. These stars will play a very significant role in the TV series to complete its roster of stars to perfectly tell its new storyline.
'Homeland' Season 6 Casting Call For Israeli Actors
According to a report by Israel Hayom, "Homeland" Season 6 needs seven Israeli actors to fill very important roles. They have different roles to fill in ranging from secret agents, businessman, a common working citizen and more. The casting call is organized by Cast Israel in collaboration with the showrunners of the critically acclaimed TV series.
As explained by Cast Israel, two Israeli actresses are set to play as secret agents who will pretend to be prostitutes in Arabian countries and will be filmed in Morocco. Another Israeli actor will be a Mossad technician, while others will take the role of other races, like a Palestinian police, an Iranian industrialist and an Emirati driver. However, the chosen ones will have to sign an agreement to keep their roles in the coming "Homeland" Season 6 a matter of secrecy.
Will Carrie, Saul's Professions Will Affect Their Relationship?
Meanwhile, the casting call for Israeli actors might be connected to "Homeland" Season 6's storyline about the aftermath of the tragic 9/11 terror attack in the U.S. Aside from that, it will also tackle how the event affect the Muslim community in the country, as per International Business Times. The screenwriter Alex Gansa explained that the treatment of the police to the said society when the historical occurrence happened will be featured.
Moreover, Carrie (Claire Danes) would be seen dealing with the issues Muslim people face in "Homeland" Season 6. Saul (Mandy Patinkin) will be working with Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) to brief the newly-elected president, Elizabeth Keane (Elizabeth Marvel). However, Carrie and Saul's different responsibilities will take its toll in their relationship as the former oppose the latter's "'fundamental principles" as a CIA agent. "Homeland" Season 6 will return on Jan. 15 on Showtime.
