Niantic has promised its fans that the new update for "Pokemon Go" will be coming soon along with the new features of the game. One particular feature in the upcoming update is the trading system, which lets players of "Pokemon Go" trade pokemons with other players.
How The Upcoming Trading System Works In 'Pokemon Go'
Niantic's CEO, John Hanke, has mentioned the development plans for the upcoming "Pokemon Go" update, which comes with a lot of goodies including the trading feature. A glimpse of the upcoming trading system can be seen in the a trailer released in January. To see the trailer, click here.
However, Hanke has not specifically divulged the details on how the trading system works in the highly-anticipated "Pokemon Go" update. But, reports from Mobile & Apps suggest that the trading feature can happen in different ways. One of the most obvious ways the trading system will work is trading via Internet. "Pokemon Go" players will get requests to trade online from other gamers and both parties will haveto confirm before they can exchange their items.
Now, Niantic will just have to figure out where the trading will commence in "Pokemon Go" or if they will be releasing a separate app to help players trade a specific pokemon in the game. Rumors suggest that there is a possible trading hub in the upcoming game update. Based on the game's app code, via RankedBoost, a "Trade_Search" code suggests that players of "Pokemon Go" can search for available trades in the game.
Meanwhile, Pokemon GO Hub reports that the trading system for "Pokemon Go" will not only for pokemons but for items as well such as potions, revives and eggs. However, the trading system will not allow trading pokemons for cash or any in-game items like pokecoins and the use of any third party apps to transfer pokemons is also not allowed.
