Greg Monroe of the Milwaukee Bucks continues to be in the center of NBA trade talks but no team has bitten the bait so far. With a hefty contract hooked up to him, such could be the case.
Hence, the only way that the Bucks could deal Monroe would be involving other players. This covers both the Bucks and whichever team that could be interested in pulling it off.
The possibilities are endless, likely involving bench players or even rookies. For the Bucks, adding a promising player to the mix could be a sweet twist but the question is who?
Crazy package scenario
One player that the Bucks may add is Jabari Parker. His name alone will draw a howl considering the Bucks would be foolish to let go of a young and promising big man.
Looking from afar, Parker is good but lacks the star power that could make him a future franchise player. He is still in the infancy stages of his NBA career meaning he has a long way to evolve. So the next question is if the Bucks would be willing to wait for him to blossom.
If not, the Bucks could opt to offer Parker (and Monroe) to teams with budding big men who have little fine-tuning needed. There are plenty in the market right now like Karl-Anthony Towns, Julius Randle, and Nerlens Noel.
The players mentioned are equally young but have shown promise as well. Hence, it could all depend on what realistically Jason Kidd sees in the league and which team would be interested in Monroe with Parker as a perk.
Be reminded that main player that the Bucks want to trade off is Monroe. Parker is insurance just in case the team is in dire straits to get someone better to beef up the forward-line of the ballclub.
