Many fans all over the world are still waiting for the release of the hit action-adventure video game "GTA 6." Rockstar Games always remained quiet about the status of the game. But, the fans have not stopped spreading rumors and speculations for the much awaited sixth installment of "GTA."
But, according to a report from University Herald, "GTA 6" might be unveiled very soon together with the release of the biker-themed downloadable content for "GTA V Online" that was announced earlier in the event that Sony hosted. The speculations began when a post on a social media account of a user named "Tidux" created a buzz. Tidux tweeted "a guitar and a star emoji with a hashtag of "#PSM," which people thought is a sign that game developers will be attending a Rockstar PlayStation Meeting.
However, there are also reports that says "GTA 6" might take another two years before it will be released. According to a report International Business Times, the "GTA 6" might also be unveiled on 2018, which is highly likely if we base on the studios' trend on releasing new "GTA" games with four to five year gaps.
Rumors also say that, if the "GTA 6" will be released in 2018, it would be more popular and this will encourage the Rockstar Games to release the game with a Virtual Reality Support feature. Some reports, however, say that "GTA 6" will be announced in 2017 alongside with the "Red Dead Redemption 2."
If ever the "GTA 6," biker-themed DLC for "GTA Online 5" and "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be released, fans expect that the games will be playable through the latest PlayStation 4.5 Neo.
