"The Sims 4" has just as much possible features as its long time fans are capable of imagining what they could add to the life simulator. One tech-savvy player has apparently discovered a file which points out to a possible feature as a means for increasing the number of Sims in the game.
The BitBag reports that a picture of the said controversial file has been circulating around the web through a Spanish blog for fans of "The Sims." Rumor has it that the said player found a file which could be part of a soon to be released update for adding a toddler feature to the game. The report adds that a sneak peak of a three level design detail of a Sim toddler has been given out. The file was allegedly checked by a member of Simsstudio who surprisingly confirmed that the model and structure of the toddler file are ready for release.
However, EA was quick to act upon the circulating rumors and put in efforts to stop it before it reaches more people. It appears that the discovered file has absolutely nothing to do with an add-on toddler feature for "Sims 4," as EA denies the same. The discovered file was just a part of an old scrapped project of EA, says a post from The Sims Community. It was merely the creation of the team for their CEO Andrew Wilson to commemorate the birth of his newborn baby.
While a toddler feature is not coming anytime soon, at least players now have a rough idea as to how a toddler Sim should look like. While that may be disappointing, there are still endless possibilities to new feature that can be added to a game as open as "The Sims." GameNGuide reported that there have been some new features that have been confirmed as the team constantly works on additions to the game.
It is reported that new content has been shown that the latest addition is titled "City Life, which could resemble "Dine Out," but with a more modern feel. The report says that this gives Sims a more urban inclination wherein they can stroll around a bustling city, browse tall apartments and penthouses, and socialize in the cityscape.
