The rumors about Daniel Craig being lured with a big amount of money to continue playing "James Bond" movies have now again surfaced. In the recent reports, the 48-year-old star is, allegedly, offered with $150 million to film two more "007" movies.
Daniel Craig Offers With $150 Million To Film Two 'James Bond' Films
According to Radar, Sony is desperate to secure Daniel Craig to do two more stints for the "James Bond" franchise. "Everyone knows how much executives adore him, and the idea of losing him at such a crucial time in the franchise isn't an option," the source told the publication. "Daniel's the key for a seamless, safe transition as far as Sony and Bond bosses are concerned, and they're prepared to pay a king's ransom to make it happen."
Anyhow, as per Telegraph, the $150 million offer remains a rumor as Sony or anyone from Daniel Craig's representatives haven't confirmed the news. To recall, it was first reported that the husband of Rachel Weisz turned down £68 million offer to return as "James Bond" in two more films. Hence, some believe that this is only recycled news from the publication.
Warner Bros. Wants Distribution Rights Of 'James Bond?'
Moreover, HitFix confirmed that if there is any news about the "James Bond" film, EON Productions will surely share its excitement by announcing it to the public. However, the big question is will the film production company will once again work with Sony to distribute the movie? The publication wrote that it might be possible but very unlikely. It has been said that EON Productions is not satisfied with Sony's works and vice versa.
So, there's a big chance that the next "James Bond" will have a new studio, which, as the rumors are strong, will be Warner Bros. The entertainment company is pretty much open and vocal to obtain the rights to distribute "James Bond." EON Production is the only one which has the sole power to choose which studio can claim the film and Sony already lost its privilege.
