Fans are already looking forward to "Jessica Jones" Season 2 although the series will not return to Netflix until 2018. However, there are already speculations about the new season that could pit Krysten Ritter's alcohol-loving private investigator against more than just one villain. In addition to that, these characters could first be introduced in 'The Defenders'!
'Jessica Jones' Season 2 Will Feature More Than Just One Villain, But Who Are They? Trish Walker Might Know
David Tennant raised the bar pretty high in the first season of "Jessica Jones". The former "Doctor Who" star was unforgettable as the mind-controlling Kilgrave, who would stop at nothing to gain control of Jessica. Although it is highly unlikely that the Purple Man will return to terrorize Krysten Ritter again, it looks like Marvel's antiheroine will be facing more than just one villain in "Jessica Jones" Season 2.
GameNGuide reported that showrunner Melissa Rosenberg has already confirmed that "Jessica Jones" Season 2 will feature multiple villains. This has led to speculations that the series will introduce more individuals from Will Simpson's organization, the mysterious IGH that Trish Walker was investigating about in the first season. The new IGH characters might actually play a big role in the highly anticipated "Marvel's The Defenders".
'Jessica Jones' Season 2 Villains To Be Introduced In 'Marvel's The Defenders'?
There are several theories surrounding IGH since its introduction in the first season in "Jessica Jones". It has been revealed that the organization actually paid for Jessica's medical bills after her family's car accident. Some fans believe that Luke Cage might also be another IGH test subject, and Kilgrave's parents may have been working for the organization all along. Because of that, people believe IGH will feature greatly in "The Defenders".
"The Defenders" will debut on Netflix in 2017. "Jessica Jones" Season 2 will premiere sometime in 2018. Do you think IGH will be the main baddies in "Jessica Jones" Season 2? Let us know in the comments.
