"Duke Nukem 3D" has been around for a long time now. Even if the game has been around for several years, the 1996 original version is still the best. This is the reason why a 20th year anniversary version is created.
According to GameSpot Members of its original development team got back together for the the "Duke Nukem 3D" 20th Anniversary Edition. The update preserves the original experience in the game. It has 8 new levels that have the same early glory of the original game.
In a report from GameSpot The anniversary edition includes a new music which is composed by the Duke Nukem 3D's original sound designer. Duke voice actor Jon St. John is the one doing the new voice lines. Aside from the music, an in-game commentary from the developer is also incorporated into the game.
It is a new experience with a classic twist since the game is played with the original 1996 graphics yet the player can also toggle real time to play the original content with high fidelity.
This all new game which is an anniversary edition is worth the wait for gamers. The President of Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford shared in a report that he did not expect the 3D game will ultimately influence the entire videogame industry. From the time he joined the industry in the 1990's it was a vision as of then.
As part of the team, he contributed more to the future of the game, as reported by WCCF Tech. This anniversary edition brings back more than what was started back then. He added that bringing back together Allen, Richard, Lee and Jon after 20 years to make the original game has been a cause of happiness for him.
It also brings joy to fans of the videogame from the old ones to new. Fans and players can expect the "Duke Nukem 3D" 20th Anniversary Edition to be released on October 11, 2016.
