"Sherlock" Season 4 fans are excited to know what life-changing things are going to happen in this detective series. Writer Mark Gatiss mentioned in the BBC Breakfast that big things are indeed coming next year. Does this include Mary Watson's death in the story?
Amanda Abbington, who portrayed the role of Mary Watson, has tweeted "And that's a Golden Wrap on Mary." Spoiler news are quick to speculate that it could mean Mrs. Watson's death as she gives birth to a child with John Watson in "Sherlock" Season 4?
Martin Freeman, who portrayed the role of John Watson, has already hinted that Mary will meet death itself at one point. Would it happen on "Sherlock" Season 4? In an interview with The Telegraph, Freeman, who is also the off-screen husband of Abbington, unintentionally gave out a spoiler. He said that they usually "follow the trajectory of what Conan Doyle did." And to those familiar with the story of Arthur Conan Doyle, that means impending death for Mary Watson.
Steven Moffat, the show's creator, revealed some news that "Sherlock" Season 4 could be the last, while Gatiss said "Sherlock" Season 4 is one of the best. Showrunners have released the first photo of "Sherlock" on squat position on the road pavement with a dog. It looks like the detective and the canine are both in serious mode, but still we do not know how long can the two stick together.
"Sherlock" Season 4 official picture have already been released with Benedict Cumberbatch, the title holder, and Martin Freeman, as John Watson. Incidentally, this photo dispels that the detective's new partner was a canine. Cumberbatch and Freeman looked tailored and sleek in their suit. The former looks serious as if deep in his thoughts, while the latter, with his arms folded, was looking away with a slight frown on his mouth.
"Sherlock" Season 4 air date will be early 2017. Stay tuned to GameNGuide for more spoilers, news and update!
