It has been recently confirmed by Konami Digital Entertainment that "Pro Evolution Soccer 2017" will be featuring 16 new teams in the first division of the Chilean National League. The current kits and each individual players from each team in Chile will be featured which will allow players to cruise the field as their own Chilean team.
Gamasutra reports that "PES 2017" will showcase the following Chileans teams: Italiano, Colo-Colo, Cobresal, Audax, Deportes Temuco, Deportes Antogafasta, Deportes Quique and Everton de Vina del Mar. This also includes Santiago Wanderers, Huachipato, Palestino, O'Higgins, San Luis Quillota,Universidad de Chile, Union Espanola, Universidad Catolica and Universidad de Concepcion.
The game is built around the "Control Reality" ethos which takes the standards of sports gaming to another plane that has never been achieved before. This features incredible new control elements and a more visually realistic experience without giving up much what made Pro Evolution Soccer achieve the standards it has achieved.
Forbes also reports that "PES2017" will now feature teams that were not represented before which include Liverpool, Club Atletico River Plate, and a whole lot more. In a first impression, it feels like the Fox Engine has done wonders for the game as gameplay has been described to be "smooth as butter."
It has truly set the bar higher for standards in sports gaming visuals, collision detection, and ball and player physics. While "PES 2016" was already a gold standard in itself when it comes to a sports game in a console, this new version has just added a greater level of realism and continuity.
The only issue that has been discovered so far would be the slowed frame rates, which apparently made the game a little less enjoyable than it should. While the demo game subject of the review has no commentary, it is hoped that this will be addressed when the full game gets released as this was a weak feature in "PES 2016."
With the vital parts of the game in place, it seems that "Pro Evolution Soccer 2017" is set to be one of the strongest contenders for the best sports game of the season. The game will be available on Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC this September 15.
