The first screenshots of Pre-Historic Mod for Minecraft have surfaced on the Internet.
The Pre-Historic Mod add-on is inclusive of new biomes, blocks and items. This is in addition to 13 new dinosaur mobs.
"Pre-Historic Mod is a mod for 'Minecraft.' It adds a new dimension with cool new biomes, blocks and Items. You get there using a unique portal design, and from there explore the new dimension going deep into your past. On the way you will encounter many dinosaurs including Raptors and Ceratosaurus which are violent and will do all they can to try and kill you. On the other hand there are cute and adorable dinos including Dodos, Ichthyosaurus and Gallinimus. In total there are 13 new mobs/Dinos! There are also lots of new trees that spawn that cover the landscape. Some are small whereas some are as tall as the clouds!" Examiner reported.
Minecraft is a sandbox video game where players can get creative and build constructions out of 3-D cubes. The game has only two modes - Survival and Creative. In Survival mode, players are required to maintain health and hunger; while in Creative, players get an inexhaustible supply of resources, and characters can fly in this mode.
The game was created by Swedish programmer Markus "Notch" Persson and launched Nov. 18, 2011 on PC by Mojang. The Xbox 30 version was released May 9, 2012.
The game has sold more than 11 million copies worldwide across platforms.
