"Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 is facing issues with regard to its casting and even with its storyline. Claims have surfaced that The CW is even considering the cancellation of the series.
Despite the tensions, there is no affirmation from the creators that "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 would be cancelled. For one, contradicting the claims are the notions of the series introducing two fresh characters. Yael Grobglas and Brittany Snow have reportedly signed on for "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2.
In the "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2, Yael Grobglas portrays the character of Trina, the businesswoman. According to Movie News Guide, as of her role description, Trina will enlist Rebecca. She would also enlist Whitefeather folk to represent her firm.
The expected episode is scheduled to be seen on "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 Episode 4. It would show Trina as she takes Rebecca's life on an extreme new course.
Meanwhile, Brittany Snow is popular for her role as Chloe in the "Pitch Perfect" film series. TV Series Finale reported that her role in "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 is yet to be exposed. However, Snow and producer Rachel Bloom herself hinted the guesting. She posted on Instagram to expose Snow's stint by doing a "super high production value music video."
It is highly anticipated that Snow will showcase something similar to her "Pitch Perfect" character as she sings an a la Barden Bella song on "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2. Not just that, she might be washing out Rebecca who is obsessed with Josh, too.
On the other hand, the "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 will be a must-watch sexual installment, as said by Bloom. Looking back, Rebecca slept together with her former camp sweetheart Josh Chan (Vincent Rodriguez III) in the "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 1 finale.
Bloom also shared that Rebecca will be more open about what she wants out of life and why she is at the law firm this time around. But, of course, fans will have to wait until "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 hits the waves before they can finally unravel the storyline. "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 premieres Oct. 21 on The CW.
