According to Star Wars site, the players who have season pass will get the third digital expansion of "Star Wars: Battlefront" Death Star DLC. The new expansion is expected to bring new weapons, new maps both on ground and in space, Star Cards and new heroes including one larger than life character we know players have been patiently waiting for.

For example, at the start, the players may be fighting with the X-wing above the Death Star's surface. Then, later, the player might find itself at the next stage diving in the trench

This information was unveiled during the event of Gamescom 2016 in Cologne, Germany. The famous astromech droid will become a playable character in a new game mode.
