'Total War: Warhammer' DLC Grim and the Grave Releases September 1
Fan of the turn-based strategy title from Creative Assembly will finally get the much awaited "Total War: Warhammer" DLC that the developer has promised. The "Grim and the Grave" DLC release date will finally arrive this coming September 1, reports PC Invasion.
The "Grim and the Grave DLC" is part of the Lords' Pack DLCs that Creative has previously promised to be coming to the game. In this particular "Total War: Warhammer" DLC, two new Legendary lords will be available to players.
Volkmar the Grim Introduced in 'Total War: Warhammer' DLC
Using the official Total War twitter account, Creative Assembly just teased an image about the upcoming "Total War: Warhammer" DLC. The image which is captioned "To the Gravelord..." finally confirms the identity of one the legendary heroes to be introduced.
As previously reported by Game & Guide, the upcoming "Total War: Warhammer" DLC will be introducing Volkmar the Grim. Those are more familiar with the Total War lore will know that Volkmar is the Grand Theogonist of the Church of Sigmar. A pious and powerful man, Volkmar is definitely a fine choice as far as legendary lords is concerned.
Helman Ghorst In Upcoming 'Total War: Warhammer' DLC
Another legendary lord will also arrive with the 'Total War: Warhammer" DLC release date this September 1. The other lord is said to be Helman Ghorst. While not much is known about him, there are those who speculate that the character is derived from the Blood of Sigmar storyline and is a Necromancer.
'Total War: Warhammer' DLC To Introduce new Heroes
The upcoming "Grim and the Grave" DLC will also introduce exciting new units for both the Empire and the Undead. The Undead will get Corpse Wagon and Mortis Engine while the Empire will have Knights of the Blazing Sun, Free Company Militia and Flagellants.

But for free players, the exciting news is that the upcoming "Total War: Warhammer" DLC will likewise have a free DLC portion. This free portion will give one free Legendary Lord as well as five new battle maps, though the identity of this free Legendary Lord is not yet revealed at the moment.
