'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Release Date & Latest News: First Look At Gameplay Happening Soon; Creators Hint Big Reveal At The 'Right Time' And With 'The Right Voice'

Fans of the sci-fi shooter franchise "Mass Effect" have been anticipating more details regarding the next instalment, specifically on "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Sadly, publisher Electronic Arts has made a confirmation that in-game footages are not scheduled to be released soon, since the company has been busy working on different titles.

When pressed about it, EA Executive Vice President Patrick Soderlund said at the recent Gamescom 2016 that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" should be out in the not too distant future. He also reveals that he had played through the first three hours of the game and finds it very playable. As to why they are not showing it, he reveals that it is simply that the game will get the right amount of exposure in the right time and that they will have the right voice for it, says a report in MNR Daily.

As of the moment, they have their hands full with big titles to be released in October to December and when they are finished with them, that will be when they will shift their lenses to "Mass Effect." The big titles which he was referring to were "Battlefield 1" and "Titanfall 2," which are also first-person shooters but set in different timeframes. The first takes place in World War I while the latter takes place in the future.

While Soderlund appears a little secretive, BioWare producer Michael Gamble and designer Jos Hendriks appear much more excited. Gamble reveals in International Business Times that he has reached that part of the project wherein he has "stopped playing other games, and only play our game, every day for months." The very thought of it is something he feels incredible about. He has also made it clear that while pleasure is not in the picture, the game is undeniably fun.

Hendricks shares the excitement and the challenges involved. He says that sometimes he just has to "soldier on through till the damn thing works."

He also revealed a situation where he spoke about how enemies in the game are coded. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is expected to launch early in 2017 and will be available in Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
