Creators of "Sherlock" finally revealed the three keywords to tease fans without giving out any spoilers. Now the three keywords for "Sherlock" season 4 includes Thatcher, Smith and Sherrinford, prompting many fans to think of a possible reunion between Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler.

After a two-year hiatus, "Sherlock" season 4 is finally set to air in January 2017. The production for its fourth season recently wrapped up on August 5, Christian Post reported. Showrunner-writer Steven Moffat, writer-actor Mark Gatiss and executive producer Sue Vertue revealed the three keywords that will give fans an idea what the season is all about.
The executive producers revealed the three keywords at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. The three words are Thatcher, Smith and Sherrinford. "Sherlock" season 4 will most likely revolve around these three characters.

Thatcher Clue Hints Of Holmes & Adler Reunion
While Thatcher already appeared in "Sherlock" season 2, Gamesradar said that Margaret Thatcher is unlikely the case that will dominate "Sherlock" season 4. Instead, it could refer to an old case called "The Six Thatchers," which John Watson (Martin Freeman) talked about on his blog.
"The Six Thatchers" appeared in "Sherlock" season 2, where Sherlock Holmes lost Irene Adler from execution. It may not be a coincidence that "The Six Thatchers" and Irene Adler appeared on the same episode according to most fans. This is led many fans to believe that Holmes and Adler may see a possible reunin in "Sherlock" season 4.
"Sherlock" season 4 promised fans to bring more adventure, terror and romance towards Holmes and Watson. This led a lot to think that Adler may appear again in "Sherlock" season 4.
A trailer released for "Sherlock" season 4 at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 hinted as much. The three characters that fans should watch out for includes James Moriarty, Sherrinford Holmes and Irene Adler. Check out the trailer below.
